Cameron M. Hite

Cameron M. Hite

Cameron obtained his Juris Doctorate at Creighton University School of Law in Omaha, Nebraska.  He is a lifelong resident of the Kansas City metropolitan area. Grateful for the city and its people, he chose to return after law school, in order to make a lasting, positive impact in his local legal community.

At Creighton, Cameron pursued practical, client-focused coursework. He participated in the school’s annual Moot Court Competition, where he honed his ability to research and argue complex legal issues. He also excelled in experiential courses such as Negotiation and Mediation, where he developed key advocacy and dispute resolution skills.

Prior to becoming of counsel for Kincaid Law KC, LLC, Cameron worked with the firm as an intern. His initial interest in interning for the firm was due to its reputation for consistently achieving favorable outcomes for clients. During this time, he worked on legal projects related to the firm’s areas of expertise and worked closely with the firm’s founder, Matthew T. Kincaid. Through his experiences with the firm, he learned to distinguish what makes a law student successful in the classroom from that which makes a lawyer successful in practice.

Before attending law school, Cameron earned a degree in Political Science from the University of Kansas. He then spent two years working as First Assistant at a private golf club in Olathe, Kansas, where he served as the primary point of contact for members. The position sharpened his communication skills and deepened his understanding of how to listen to and appreciate people’s concerns, then respond effectively; traits he incorporates into his legal work today.

Outside his professional life, Cameron enjoys spending time with family, friends, and two golden retrievers. He’s a passionate supporter of Kansas City area sports; especially the Chiefs, Royals, and his alma mater, the Kansas Jayhawks.
